Easily Create Anchor Links to Headings, Accordions & Tabs
Caleb Scharf
We want the ability to be able to easily generate anchor links to different headings in the article, including accordions and tabs. Anchor Link = links that will open directly to that section of the page and expand the Accordion/Tab if applicable. We would also like this to work for Accordions that are inside tabs and tabs that are inside accordions. The ideal way to accomplish this is demonstrated in the gif and website below.
Why do we want this? We make heavy use of accordions and tabs and we want the ability to link a customer directly to a specific step, even it's an accordion or an accordion within a tab, or even an accordion, inside a tab which is inside an accordion.

I agree with this! Accordions are one of the reasons we chose Helpjuice over other knowledge base platforms, but it's difficult to direct users to the one they need.

In addition, the current way of creating anchor links for headings (by temporarily enabling a table of contents and taking the link from there) is not useable because it includes a cardinal number, so if you add a section above or below it that number changes and your old anchor links are invalid.

Thank you, Caleb. We need something that is not browser-specific at our organization as well.
