The decision tree has been a great add to help juice. I would love if you could expand upon it by, being able to export the information. We use it for troubleshooting. It would be great to see what information the user selected on. If an exported file (Excell, PDF, etc) of that information would be great for our support team as we troubleshoot and prevent duplication of support questions. I could imagine from what I have seen in the pass, it would be some button that would generate the information to be shared with the user and support.

Hi everyone!
Decision trees are now live! You don't have to do anything. You will see them under the Article Editor (tree icon).
To refresh your memory, decision trees are a simple way for you to present different answers, based off a series of answers to questions. Some people refer to it as 'troubleshooting'.

GREAT Feedback so far regarding this feature. We'll be opening it up to everyone soon. Let me know if you want immediate access to it
Emil Hajric
Hey folks,
We promised only 1 spot for beta access, and granted it already. However, we'll do 1 more spot for someone willing to provide feedback.
If you're willing to provide feedback, we will give you instant access to it,
even thought it's not 100% ready.
Reply with "YES", and I'll pick 1 more spot (mostly based off my experience w/ them providing us feedback on features & their involvement)

Emil Hajric: This looks great and would be especially useful in a troubleshooting guide.

Jack Connolly: I have a new iteration from our team that we're playing with internally

Emil Hajric Jody Douglas has summed this up for me. Whether it is from within an article, or seperate from the article I have no preference. I just think a feature like this would seriously improve the service offering from Helpjuice and position it head and shoulders above competitors.

Can you guys help us understand how you'd imagine interacting with this? Would you see this within an article or it's own separate part of Helpjuice?
jodydouglas Douglas
Emil Hajric: Currently we are looking at adding ZingTree into our support site. As it stands now, we would be creating an article for a product type (we have 3 products currently) and embedding ZingTree code into the article, which then would provide a decision tree to guide our clients through self support. We are in the early stages of testing this out. This approach so far seems to be doable, however we anticipate that there could be limits to the trees themselves and/or functionality.
To be able to create, manage, and add decision trees to our support site, through Helpjuice - outside of an article - would be a better approach for us. Either with the tools to create and manage as a direct function of Helpjuice, or a more seamless way to add a trees made with a third party platform would be ideal.
We see decision trees as an important step in helping our clients become more self-sufficient.

Emil Hajric: I think it becomes part of the article creation process. Similar to how we would insert different features (warnings, info, etc.) we can insert a decision tree. We can give people the option to go through the decision tree based on the error, warning, etc. that they see. When they click on that error for example, then the flow starts. I imagine the experience like viewing an LMS course with text, video, and other capabilities. The tree itself can be built like you would build a bot flow.

We are looking to implement multiple decision trees as a way to improve the user experience for our support site. Using third-party solutions along with Helpjuice looks doable for us, however we would love to see it as a part of the Helpjuice platform.

This would be extremely helpful in our troubleshooting section!
