Once you apply borders to an image and manually save it as draft, the styles disappear from the "Image Styles" menu and is not possible to adjust them that way. If we apply new styles and save the article as draft again, the borders will reset to the previous one.
Steps to reproduce the issue:
- Add an image to an article
- Add a border to it using the Image Styles feature
- Manually save the article as draft
- Open the Image Styles menu again and you'll see the styles have disappeared (although they are still applied to the image and visible in the HTML)
- Add a new border to the image (it will be applied as expected)
- Manually save the article as draft again
- The image border will be reverted to the previous color/styles
Workarounds:
- Replace the styles directly in the source view
- Remove the styles from the source view and re-add them using the image styles menu
- Remove the image, re-insert it in the article and re-apply the border
