Huge issues with comments disappearing
Lorna Lawson
Comments can disappear when the text they are related to is changed, however they shouldn't disappear until someone actually clicks the resolve button.
They also don't show up on previous versions / activities once they have disppeared from a future version. So there is no way to 'find' them again once they have disappeared.

Comments also seem to disappear when a user simply opens the article editor and doesn't do any action. The author receives email notifications saying the user resolved them but that's not true.
It seems to be related to multiple versions in the article.

Ivanna Parra This has happened to us multiple times. This behavior results when the article has multiple editor instances open and the system happens to auto-save a draft that is behind the latest (commented) state in another editor. This causes the comments to disappear. This points to a lack of prioritization logic between snapshots. Since collaborative editing is not the default workflow, these scenarios can lead to misunderstandings and sometimes data loss. At least in some instances we noticed these arbitrary changes in the revision log.
